I am going through a phase, please humor me.
Yes, more circles... I just love the way they present focused snippets of the whole story. Plus, I love the way the look. So, for this round of the ACoLab, #20, the theme was "Outside Your Front Door". I thought about shooting right outside my door but have been shooting (as many of us do) where I stand. Sometimes these feet photos are the only shots I have of me and I kinda like the vantage point. I especially like it when my daughter is below. Here is what I submitted:

Incidentally, yesterday while having some lunch in the living room with Twila, I stepped away to grab a napkin in the kitchen. When I returned, Twila was out of her seat with my phone in hand saying, "Ohhhh..Oooo" and "hmmm". As I approached to see what was so interesting I noticed she had selected the Hipstamatic app and was looking at her feet from various angles by moving the phone around. I showed her how to use the button to take the photo and she took this shot to the left. She took a few and then experimented moving in closer. It was hard to get her to start eating again after she got hooked on seeing what she could do. I think she was even more excited when I showed the photos she took back to her. It was a proud mom moment.

I love the framing that your circle phase offers. Great work!
That is so cute that Twila took that picture, it is a great shot :-)
Oh I just love that she did that. He little feet are so cute. I love feet picures too and I love the line you wrote, "seemingly insignificant spots worthy of remembering forever." Awesome!
Your circles are so fun. I'm enjoying them.
oh, so many things to say here!
1. I'm with you on the circles. Wherever you got the inspiration to begin them, I'm digging it.
2. There is something so declarative about a look-down feet shot. It's proof that you were standing in that place. I have a whole folder of feet-shots that I simply have to glance at and the memories of whole days and trips rush back at you. I'm still mesmerized by them and don't think I have all the words yet to say what, exactly, such pictures accomplish...
3. That story about Twila - that's beautiful!
that shot is pretty cute!
ohhh her first shot!!!! and it is so cute!!!!
(and yes, I love the cercles too)
