Mead's Quarry

One of my favorite spots to go walking is at the Ijams Nature area.  This quarry is part of a large area reserved for nature, walking, biking, and mountain biking.  It's beautiful.

I first cloned out the sunlight and a bit of the left of the image...I think I was kind of sloppy taking this image to be honest.  Then I adjusted the levels.   I ran PW heartland action in PS and then adjusted and removed some of the steps.  I then added a color adjustment layer, added another original image, soft mode blended that layer and flattened.  I adjusted the levels a bit more and added some brightness and then added a Futimmo texture.  I added some font because I thought the image needed something but also because I liked that the image felt like a found photograph or postcard from long ago...something dropped along the way somewhere.  Should you care to take a closer look you can visit it here.

That looks really great place to be, I love nature. We have summer cottage by see but surround by woods. No noise, no people, no water pipes you take water from the well. Just you, nature, sea, good food, sauna and silence:)
